WHY ----My family is from Cartagena, Colombia and as a child, I was raised in Colombia in a very impoverished environment. In 2005, I traveled to Cartagena, Colombia and revisited the impoverished neighborhoods where we were raised. I then felt compelled to establish a feeding center there with the help of my father, who is now Founder and Senior Pastor of a non-denominational Christian church (Torre Fuerte Christian Church), with the hopes of helping out the less fortunate who find themselves in the same dire situation we once were. We have also established a feeding center/school in Port-a-Prince, Haiti (in Cite Soleil) and in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
As a child, I had always been very creative. I started taking cartooning classes at the age of 10 and at the age of 15 I started taking art classes (drawing and painting). In college I majored in Graphic Design and achieved an Associates of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from Broward College in Davie, Florida. I then went on to business school and achieved a Bachelors Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. I then received an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida in 2004.
Today I'm a wife and mother of two rambunctious boys and the Lead Pastor of Torre Fuerte Christian Church in Sunrise, FL. I'm also very involved in missions ministry. I devote a lot of my time raising funds for the less fortunate. I love custom jewelry, beaded bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc. I recently started making my own beaded jewelry and all my friends kept asking me where did I buy it from! They couldn't believe that they were handmade by me. So this is when I decided to sell my jewelry for a good cause.
100% of my net profits will go to missions funding, specifically Mission Hope.
